Some people use the term ‘eco-anxiety’ to describe feeling overwhelmed by the environmental challenges our planet faces in the future. While it isn't a diagnosed mental health issue, anxiety about the environment is something a growing number of young people are talking about and experiencing.
Kids Helpline is conducting this survey to:
- Better understand this growing issue and how it is impacting on young people
- Give young people a voice on this issue
We may share some data or quotes from this survey on our website, socials or with the media. All of your responses are completely anonymous.
Please note: counsellors will be unable to respond to anything you say in this survey. If you need support you can contact Kids Helpline on 1800 55 1800 or visit Kids Helpline to chat online/send an email.
